Generally speaking, when people hear the term marketplace they immediately think business and the economy. And rightfully, so.

However, it is rare when the marketplace and the believer are discussed together in partnership as opposed to them being binary in concept. 

According to scripture it is the believer’s responsibility to infiltrate and influence the world at large. 

Matthew 5:14 declares that we are the light of the world. So what does that mean? Light is symbolic of illumination and truth and when believers show up armed with light and truth of God, we bring with us solutions and answers.
